Based in Waldorf, Maryland, Herbert has built a career around ensuring complex IT systems are secure, reliable, and accessible for the people who depend on them. Known for his ability to bridge technical complexity with practical usability, he brings a people-first approach to every engagement.
As an IT Generalist, Herbert offers a broad and integrated skill set that allows him to move seamlessly across disciplines to solve challenges efficiently. His expertise includes enterprise systems administration across on-premises and cloud environments, unified communications platforms such as VOIP, VDI, and VTC, and securing networks through Active Directory, Azure AD, and compliance with FISMA and NIST standards. He holds CompTIA Security+ and Cloud+ certifications and is an ISC2 Candidate, underscoring his commitment to industry-recognized security and cloud best practices.
